Mauro Dell’Orco, architect and designer based in London, grew up in Italy where the Dolomites and woodlands were first a playground, then a work-material, always a companion.

From early training in a local furniture workshop to the architectural degree in Venice, he learned to merge touch and structure, material and space.
His career moves seamlessly between architecture and furniture, each informing the other: architecture brings scale, context and precision, while furniture invites intimacy, dialogue and touch.

Rooted in heritage and material truth, his work has been widely recognised and awarded in significant ways: from the Medal of Excellence and first prize at the Salone del Mobile in Milan with Riva1920, to the Wood Award in 2022 and, in 2023, the prestigious Christopher Claxton-Stevens Prize.
