After completing training as a scientific glassblower in 2018 and establishing Ulysse Sauvage in 2020, their work began to challenge the boundaries and conventions of borosilicate glass blowing - a remarkably resilient and high-quality glass typically used in laboratory equipment. Now operating from a studio in Paris, they create everyday objects and place great emphasis on treating the raw material with utmost respect. With minimal physical constraints, they allow the object to take shape, resulting in unique pieces that possess their own distinctive qualities, despite their similar forms. Their exclusive use of European glass and focus on using recycled materials for packaging aligns with their commitment to sustainability.
