Defined by their restrained construction and strong geometric proportions, the chairs reflect the functional principles of Italian Rationalism. Straight square-section legs support a simple wooden seat, while the open back is formed by two vertical supports and a gently curved horizontal backrest. The chairs retain their original grey-painted finish, showing extensive wear, losses and traces of use accumulated over the decades. This untouched surface gives the set a distinctive character while revealing areas of the natural wood beneath. Their sober architectural form and honest construction make these chairs equally suitable around a dining table or as individual accent pieces in a contemporary interior.\n\n \n\n \n\n \n\nMeasurements:\n\nH 80.5 x W 43 x D 45 x SH 46 cm","brand":"Modern Living","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":67573255864710,"sku":null,"price":4576.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0671\/5290\/4457\/files\/zin9u5po1bi9gcustmd0.jpg?v=1791280702","url":"https:\/\/oblist.com\/products\/set-of-4-rationalist-wooden-dining-chairs-in-the-taste-of-giuseppe-pagano-1940s","provider":"The Oblist","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
