The neck is edged with a gilt line, the foot with a broad polished ring. The contrast between the soft frosted glass and the shine of the gilding makes the whole piece. Beautiful patina of time: the gilding shows light wear and small lighter areas in places, with no chips or cracks. The glass is intact. At 20.5 cm high by 13.5 cm in diameter, this vase sits on a console, mantel or sideboard, filled with a few stems or left bare as an object of light.
