This shifting boundary destabilises the reflected image, creating an uncertain perceptual space between what is reflected and what lies beyond. The colour of the wall on which the work is mounted remains visible through the transparent glass centre, becoming an integral part of the composition.\n\nThe gradient is created using light-sensitive inks whose colour intensity varies with the surrounding light. Its appearance may therefore differ slightly from the images shown, depending on the lighting conditions in the space where the work is displayed.\n\nMade in Italy from laminated mirror and clear glass, with concealed stainless-steel wall-mounting profiles.
