A striking mix of materials brought together in simple, clean lines, typical of the 1930s–40s. Functionalism was the Swedish expression of the modernist ideas coming out of the Bauhaus and continental Europe, replacing heavy ornament with clear shapes, honest materials and everyday usefulness. This lamp captures that spirit well: practical, well made and quietly decorative. Paired with a new white linen lampshade.\n\n\nDimensions\nHeight without shade: 32 cm (12.6\")\nHeight with shade: 40 cm (15.7\")\nShade diameter: 30 cm (11.8\")\nBase diameter: 16 cm (6.3\")","brand":"Spigel","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":67837670424966,"sku":null,"price":2000.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0671\/5290\/4457\/files\/ttiq6q1kechtauaz1jsh.jpg?v=1793609040","url":"https:\/\/oblist.com\/en-ch\/products\/functionalist-metal-and-marble-table-lamp-sweden-1940s","provider":"The Oblist","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
