It is fitted with a turned, dark-stained wood cap and patinated brass hardware.\n\nWilhelm Kåge (1889–1960) was one of the most influential figures in 20th-century Swedish ceramic design. As artistic director at Gustavsberg from 1917 to 1949, he is often regarded as a father of Swedish modernism. His work is represented in the collection of the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm, among others.\n\nUnmarked, but unmistakably by Kåge. Sold without lampshade.
