{"title":"Emma Clarke","description":"Emma Clarke is a London-based multidisciplinary artist and designer working across furniture, sculpture and ceramics.  Her practice explores the relationship between the body, objects and materials, creating works that sit between functional furniture and sculpture. Working with timber, ceramics and Japanese urushi lacquer, Clarke combines traditional craft processes with contemporary forms, often placing materials with contrasting associations of fragility, permanence, refinement and familiarity into dialogue. Her restrained, tactile works challenge expected uses and material hierarchies, creating objects that invite physical engagement while retaining a strong sculptural presence.  Each piece is made as a one-of-a-kind or limited work, with material and process central to its identity.","products":[],"url":"https:\/\/oblist.com\/en-ch\/collections\/emma-clarke.oembed","provider":"The Oblist","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
